溫室氣體是大氣中能吸收地面反射的太陽(yáng)輻射，并重新發(fā)射輻射的一些氣體，如水蒸氣、二氧化碳、大部分制冷劑等。它們的作用是使地球表面變得更暖，類(lèi)似于溫室截留太陽(yáng)輻射，加熱溫室內(nèi)的空氣。這種溫室氣體使地球變得更溫暖的影響稱(chēng)為"溫室效應(yīng)"。水汽(H?O)、二氧化碳(CO?)、氧化亞氮(N?O)、氟利昂、甲烷(CH?)等是地球大氣中主要的溫室氣體。
